Managing Editor, Dumbarton Oaks Medieval Library

Nicole Eddy.

Nicole Eddy is managing editor of the Dumbarton Oaks Medieval Library (DOML), a series of facing-page translations of medieval and Byzantine texts published by Harvard University Press. She coordinates the preparation and review of between four and six titles per year, in multiple languages including medieval Latin, Byzantine Greek, Old English, and the languages of medieval Iberia. She also supports promotion of DOML, including managing the series website and overseeing participation at conferences.

Eddy holds a PhD in medieval studies from the University of Notre Dame, where her dissertation focused on marginal notes and reading practices in Middle English and Old French romance manuscripts. She has published articles on Thomas Malory’s Morte Darthur and the French Roman de Troie, as well as the evidence for children in the audience of the romances carried in late medieval household miscellanies.
