Julianna Kardish

Julianna Kardish graduated from Harvard University in 2020 with a joint degree in social anthropology and art, film, and visual studies. She was a curator for the Harvard Student Art Collective and co-executive producer for Identities Fashion. In 2017, Kardish worked at an archaeological dig of a Moche ceremonial burial site in San José de Moro, Peru, and, in 2018, she began a two-year ethnographic research project and her undergraduate thesis in Cape Town, South Africa, for which she mapped out the grounded realities of female foot traffic post-apartheid. As an artist, she works in oil paint, fiber, and analog photography.
