Plant Humanities Summer Program

Katherine Enright is a rising senior at Harvard pursuing a joint concentration in history and anthropology with a secondary in East Asian studies. She has a keen interest in environmental history and museum studies, and a particular fondness for mangroves. Enright will be writing her senior thesis on Alfred Russel Wallace and the legacies of colonial science at Singapore’s Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum. At Harvard, she is also an undergraduate research assistant for the China Biographical Database Project (CBDB) at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science and a member of the student board of the Harvard Museums of Science and Culture.
