Abner Aldarondo graduated cum laude from Amherst College, where he majored in Spanish and Latinx and Latin American Studies. His senior honors thesis explored the relationship between environmental justice and contemporary Puerto Rican art, such as murals, digital art, and comic books. Aldarondo is a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow and has his scholarship published in the MMUF Journal. He has curated online exhibitions for the Puerto Rico Syllabus, the Mead Art Museum, and an online historic walking tour for the Holyoke Public Library.
