The fifteenth and sixteenth centuries are considered the golden age of Spanish music, but they were also the golden age of Persian and central Asian music. The Persian setar master Kiya Tabassian and his renown Constantinople ensemble join forces with the great viola da gamba virtuoso Fahmi Alqhai and his Accademia del Piacere, the leading ensemble of early Spanish music. Together, they embark on a musical journey through Iberia, Persia, and Central Asia, revisiting music notable for its sumptuous color and exceptionally rich beauty.
