Description

Typewritten letter includes a list of books received by date from booksellers, Argosy Book Stores, Eric Lundberg, Henry G. Fiedler (Firm), and B.H. Blackwell, Ltd. at Dumbarton Oaks. Anne Sweeney reports the opening of garden tours for fall with attendance down due to cold weather and mentions John Thacher has told her he has a marvelous plan for the garden.

Copy of original letter and list of books. Letter unsigned, but probably sent by Anne Sweeney as she supervised Dumbarton Oaks garden tours and the receiving of books for the Dumbarton Oaks Garden Library.

Title created by cataloger.
