Discusses walls to replace the hedges surrounding the Ellipse in the Dumbarton Oaks Gardens, Mr. Van Rensselaer's of the Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens excitement surrounding Mildred Bliss' financial gift, and visit by Mr. William Judd and Mr. Robert Cameron to Reef Point for a garden consultation.
