Description
Typewritten letter responding to Beatrix Farrand's letter of February 18th (D:BF 1941.02.18B). Paul Sachs explains that the delayed response was so that he and Thacher could discuss together the questions Beatrix Farrand raised in her correspondence, which Thacher answers in his letter to Beatrix Farrand (D:JT 1941.03.04). Paul Sachs expresses his appreciation for her continued advice and guidance of the Dumbarton Oaks gardens after its transition to Harvard and concludes the letter with a desire to see her on her next trip to Washington, D.C. in April [1941].
Copy of letter with typewritten signature. Original letter is lacking in collection.
