Collection of medical texts, a πηγὴ νάουσα ἰατρικῶν προσταγμάτων. Before numbering begins, a “folio 0” with an introduction to Hippocrates, the Oath &c. («Ποταπὸν δεῖ εἶναι τὸν μανθάνοντα τὴν ἰατρικὴν τέχνην...»).
In the hands of Nicolás Nathanaël of Crete (V&G 354 ) (fols. 1-159) and “Pedro Carnabaca” (Πέτρος Καρναβάκα(ς)) of Monemvasiá (V&G 384) (fols. 162-268). The link “Escorial Copyist” in online resources has images of 2v and 159r of this manuscript, though they seem to have picked the least regular and attractive of Νικόλαος’s pages, which do no justice to the great beauty (with the occasional expressive flare) that characterizes most of his writing.
