Jean Picart Le Doux

Jean Picart Le Doux (Charles Marcel Jean Picart Le Doux) (1902–1982) was a French artist and tapestry designer who resided mostly in Paris. Having no specialized professional training, he began his career as a bookbinder and publisher before turning to advertising and the graphic arts around 1935. He taught at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. In 1952, he was one of the founders and first president of the Alliance graphique international (AGI).
