Country Life

London, England, United Kingdom, 1897–present (Publication)

Country Life was launched in 1897 as a British magazine primarily covering golf, racing, and estate properties. Their advertisements for upscale residential property around Europe and even North America, for sale or for rent, was a large draw of the magazine. Through the twentieth century they expanded to include other topics related to rural country life, such as gardening, shooting, farming, and hunting, as well as larger topics of interest to a primarily upper-class audience.
