Southwest Arts and Crafts

Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA (Publisher)

Southwest Arts & Crafts was a merchandise store established in Santa Fe in 1916 by the trader Julius Gans under the auspices of the United Indian Trader's Association. Beginning in 1920, Gans employed a number of in-house Native American artisans to make objects for his shop. Gans also published postcards which were sold in the shop.
