April 7, 1947

Royall Tyler, Esquire

Hotel Richemond

Geneva, Switzerland

Dear Royall,

I am giving this letter to my good friend Will Clayton,William Lockhart “Will” Clayton (1880–1966), an American businessman and government official. who is going to Geneva as Chairman of the United States Delegation to the United Nations Preparatory Committee for the International Conference on Trade and Employment. He is the best that Texas produces and I want particularly to have him and you meet and get to know one another. Incidentally, he is Under-Secretary of State for Economic Affairs.

With affectionate messages,

Yours ever,
