Mildred and Robert Woods Bliss acquired this lamp and stand from the Beirut dealer Elias (Elie) Bustros through Royall Tyler on August 1 and September 14, 1949; the Blisses gave the lamp and stand to Dumbarton Oaks in August 1950.
