Elisina Tyler to Mildred Barnes Bliss, August 25, 1915

Côte d’Or

August 25th 1915Wednesday.

Dearest Mildred,

I have just received this empty mockery. I see the envelope shows no signs of having been . . . humectée, “Moistened.” so I hope you may find the letter you had intended for me reposing sweetly on your desk, and send it on.

Meantime, and always, our united best love to you both.

Ever yours,

Elisina
