From S. Bendall, who acquired it at the ANA convention at Cincinatti, in part exchange for duplicate Palaiologan coins
Commentary
Grierson believed the inscription in the reverse exergue designates the city of Isaura Palaia, but it is more likely that it is an abbreviation of the province Isauria.
