Virgin nimbate wearing tunic and maphorion seated upon throne. Holds beardless, nimbate head of Christ against breast. To left and right, ̅ ΘV.

Full-length figure of Theodore Doukas on left crowned by Christ, bearded and nimbate, on right. Emperor wears stemma, divitision, jeweled loros of simplified type, and sagion. Sheathed sword pointed downward in right hand, akakia in left hand. Christ wears tunic and kolobion and holds Gospels in left hand.
