As part of the Determination learning arc, students explore patterns, shapes, rhythm, symmetry in art, and art inspired by nature. The activity guide highlights mosaics from the Pre-Columbian and Byzantine Collections at Dumbarton Oaks and is accompanied by activities including close-looking at art and mosaic-making.
