Notes

(olim Badia 2741 ; 89)

Contents: many different works including Michael Psellus, Vss. De Metro Iambico (Iter Psellianum: [1066] POE.14)

Ms. photographed from right to left.
A sticker obscures most of f. 65v-66r.
65r-72v: Planudes on Grammar.
f.73v: incipit: “Τὸ μέτρον οὕτω τῶν ἰάμβων μοι μέτρει.”
desinit: “ Ἰδοὺ τὸ πᾶν εἴληφας ἐν βραχεῖ μέτρῳ.”

Also at the bottom of f. 73v, a delightful little “narratiuncula”, as the catalogue has it, about a courageous woman who fought off two pirate ships.  This dates the ms. to 1341.

For a detailed summary of the many small works contained in ff. 74r-83r, please refer to Rostagno and Festa’s catalogue, p. 138 (see online resources or bibliography).  Pinakes, as of July 2011, lists some of the works in the ms. but not all of them.
