Notes

Contents:  John Cantacuzenus, Histories preceded by an exchange of letters between Neilos and Christodoulos.

p. 1r: incipit: “ἐπειδή σε βούλεσθαι οἶδα μηδὲν τῶν ἡμετέρων ἀγνοεῖν…” (Neilos to Christodoulos) .

Pagination is consistent until p.35.  After this point, perhaps due to water damage or fading, page numbers are often not visible and for this reason, when readers attempted to restore them, some of the pages ended up with double pagination.

p. 322 (?): desinit: “…τῶν μὲν τὴν μεγαλοψυχίαν ἐπαινεῖν καὶ τὴν ἐν ἅπασιν ἢ ἐν πλείστοις…”

The work is missing a few lines at the end, the last page of the ms. was probably lost at some point.

This is the entire ms.
