Plates drawn and engraved by father Gabriel Perelle and sons, Nicolas and Adam; descriptions by Charles Antoine Jombert.

Plate numbers appear at bottom right of plate image, a very few plates unnumbered; some leaves have 2 plate images; plate versos blank.

Gabriel Pérelle produced several hundred engravings according to his own drawings as well as those of his competitors Israel Sylvestre, Paul Bril, Jacques Callot, Michel Corneille the Elder, Pierre Asselin, Jacques Fouquieres, or Sébastien Pontault of Beaulieu. These etchings represent mainly landscapes of the Paris region, including views of castles, where he introduced variety by adding ruins and various accessories.
