Views of Vlakhernskoe-Kuzminki, the estate park of the Golitsyn family. Austrian landscape artist Johann Nepomuk Rauch (1804–1847) spent ten years (1831–1841) in Moscow and was commissioned by then-owner of the estate Prince Sergei Michailovich Golitsyn (1774–1859) to paint a cycle of watercolors of his estate park. Several lithographic albums featuring these views were published in Moscow and Paris.
