Translation

σφραγὶς σεβαστοῦ Νικηφόρου τοῦ Δούκα ῥίζαν γένους ἔχοντος ἐκ βασιλέων.

Seal of the sebastos Nikephoros Doukas whose roots are traced from emperors.

Commentary

The inscription consists of two dodecasyllabic verses.
