Translation

γραφὰς σφραγίζω Κινάμου Βασιλείου.

I seal the letters of Basil Kinnamos.

Commentary

Wassiliou-Seibt dated this seal to the second half of the twelfth century and suggested that a Basil Kinnamos known to have been bishop of Paphos between 1166 and 1190 was the owner. We are inclined, however, to date the seal to the eleventh century (on the basis of the ου ligature on the reverse), as does Jordanov in his edition; see PBW : Basileios 20328.
