Bust of the Virgin, nimbate at three-quarters, turned toward the left where she holds the Christ child on her right arm. Sigla to both sides: ̄θῡ: Μήτηρ Θεοῦ. Border of dots.

Translation

Ἁγνή, σκέποις με σῷ δούλῳ Θεωφίλῳ.

Pure one, may you protect me, your servant Theophilos.

Commentary

Dodecasyllable. Note the usage of both the accusative and dative as objects of the invocation.
