Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Θεοτόκε βοήθει Θεωδόρῳ κουβουκλισήο.

Theotokos, help your servant. Theotokos, help Theodore kouboukleisios.

Commentary

The reverse contains a second invocation, which requires some explanation. It is possible that the reverse die was recarved without care for the content of the obverse, especially as it seems to be in a somewhat rougher style epigraphically.
