Κύριε βοήθει τῇ σῇ δούλῃ Ἠρήνῃ πρωτοσπαθαρίσσᾳ καὶ στρατηγίσσᾳ τῇ Συναδηνῇ.

Lord, help your servant Eirene Synadene, protospatharissa and strategissa.

Commentary

If the reading of the inscription and a general dating to the late tenth or early eleventh century are accepted, this would represent the first mention of the Synadenos family.
