Translation

ἁγνή, με σκέποις Κωνσταντῖνον πρωτανθύπατον.

Holy One, may you protect me, Constantine, protanthypatos.

Commentary

This seal offers a rare example of the title protanthypatos, attested during the 1080s before disappearing by the early twelfth century: see Oikonomides, Listes, 294.
