Translation
Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Νικήτᾳ πατρικίῳ καὶ μαγίστρῳ.

Commentary
In his unpublished catalogue to the Shaw Collection, Laurent suggests that this may be the seal of Niketas Xylinites (under Leo III).
