Translation
Κωνσταντίνου τοῦ Χαμᾶ κουροπαλάτου σκέποις σὺ μάρτυς ἄγιε Γεώργιε.
St George, martyr, may you protect Constantine Chamas, kouropalates.
Commentary
The inscription forms two twelve-syllable verses, although the accent falls on the antepenult at the end of the second verse. This inscription should be added to the corpus of metrical seals compiled by Wassiliou-Seibt.
