Translation

Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Βασιλείῳ πατρικίῳ καὶ παρακοιμωμένῳ.

Lord, help your servant Basil, patrikios and parakoimomenos.

Commentary

The combination of Christian name (Basil), title (patrikios), office (parakoimomenos), and design (typical of the tenth century), make it very likely that the owner of this seal was Basil Lekapenos. Compare with BZS.1955.1.4473 and BZS.1947.2.828.
