Obverse

Between two standing archangels (Gabriel at left, Michael at right), the Mother of God sits on a high-backed throne, holding the medallion. Sigla above her head on both sides: ̅θυ̅ : Μ(ήτη)ρ Θ(εο)ῦ. In the lower field at left: α : Γα(βριήλ). At right: a : Μ(ιχ)α(ήλ). Border of dots.

Inscription of five lines beginning with a cross. Decoration below.

Translation

τὸν πανυπερσέβαστον, Ἁγνή, με σκέποις.

Immaculate One, may you watch over me, the panhypersebastos.

Commentary

The inscription forms a twelve-syllable verse.
