Translation

σφραγὶς Κομνηνοῦ Μανουήλ, ὥς ἐφέφυ πορφυροκλαδόπαιδος ἐξ Ἰωάννου.

Seal of Manuel Komnenos who is the issue of John, child of royal lineage.

Commentary

Wassiliou-Seibt identifies the owner, Manuel Komnenos, the son of John Doukas, himself the son of Anna Komnene, whence the basis of the declaration of his royal ancestry. He is otherwise attested only in a funeral oration for his brother Nikephoros Komnenos who died in 1173.

Note the use of accents and breathings.
