Commentary

A metrical inscription of twelve syllables which should be added to the collection compiled by Wassiliou-Seibt, Siegel mit metrischen Legenden, vol. I. The Michael Boilas recorded as a witness in an act issued by the Iveron monastery in 1171 may refer to the owner of our seal. See PBW : Michael 158.
