Θεοτόκε βοήθι Νικηφόρον τὸν Οὐράνηον.

Mother of God, help Nikephoros Ouranios.

Commentary

The reading of the owner's family name is provisional owing to the poor state of preservation in the final lines of the reverse. There is also evidence of a previous strike, notably on the obverse on either side of the image.
