Translation

Basil Xeros protospatharios, epi tou Chrysotriklinou, judge of the Hippodrome and of the Anatolikoi.

Commentary

Quite likely the same person as the owner of BZS.1955.1.3412. Following the prosopographical study of DOSeals 2.8.16, we restore the first name of the owner as Basil while recognising that this is not absolutely secure.
