Translation

... στράτορι βασιλικῷ, βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ δρουνγαρίῳ.

... imperial strator, imperial protospatharios and droungarios.

Commentary

The dating of this seal is uncertain. The epigraphy and style of the obverse point to the tenth century, whereas the epigraphy on the reverse is very different in style, more in keeping with letter types used in the seventh or eighth century.
