Commentary

Laurent interprets this as the 11th century; however the monogram does not read John (Ἰωάννου) as the υ is likely not present above, and there is clearly no α. Moreover, the ο attached to the middle bar is likely a σ or a ρ; if it is a σ, then this reads Σισιννίῳ, while if it is a backwards ρ that is doubling as an ο, then it reads Ὁνωρίου; less likely variants of the second readings includ Ἰούνωρ and Ἰούνωρι.
