Half-length of the Mother of God orans, the medallion of Christ before her. Sigla on either side: θ̣Υ̣ : Μή(τη)ρ Θ(εο)ῦ. Border of dots.

Inscription of at least five lines, presumably beginning with a cross. Border of dots.

Translation

σκέποις, ἄναρχε, τὴν πανσεβαστοτάτην καὶ ... Μαρίαν.

May you, of everlasting, protect the pansebaste ... Maria (?)

Commentary

The inscription cannot be transcribed in full, nor can the owner's name be reconstituted with confidence, although it was likely Maria. The legible portion of the inscription indicates that it is metrical.
