Commentary

This seal requires further consideration; one of these two names is likely a correct resolution, however it is seemingly unlikely that there would be two names instead of a name with some sort of title. However both monograms are cut-off at the bottom and one side, rendering a fully accurate reading impossible. Another valid reading of the obverse monogram is Ἐλευθερίου (Eleutherios), if the apparent Δ is actually a Λ. Other valid readings of the reverse monograms are Ἀστερίου (Asterios) and Ἐράστου (Erastos).
