A military saint, holding a spear and shield, standing between palm trees. Sigla on either side: μ̅θ̅ : Μ(ήτηρ) Θ(εοῦ). Border of dots.

Reverse

Inscription of five lines; last two lines from a previous strike. Border of dots.

Mother of God, help your servant Eudokia ...

Commentary

This seal was struck twice, as remnants of a first strike are evident in the last two lines of the reverse. It is also noticeable that the image of the standing military saint is accompanied by sigla identifying the image as the Mother of God.
