Translation

Ἔπιδε Θεοτόκε τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Νικήτᾳ τῷ υἱῷ τοῦ κριτοῦ.

Mother of God, watch over your servant Niketas son of the judge. 

Commentary

The absence of a channel suggests that this specimen is a token or tessera. Note the ligature of tau and omega in the fourth line.
