Obverse
St Nicholas standing, blessing with his right hand and holding a gospel book in his left. Inscription in two columns: Ο|Α|ΓΙ|Ο|ΣΝ|Ι|ΚΟΛ|Α|Ο̣|Σ̣ : ὁ ἅγιος Νικόλαος. Border of dots. A hole through the upper area of the field indicates that the specimen was once suspended by a different means subsequent to its original channel and cord.

Commentary
On published seals, George is rarely provided an epithet. There is only one other published seal of Saint George Tropaiophoros (Trophy Bearer or Victorious): DOSeals 3, no. 99.12, which is assigned to the eleventh century.
