Obverse

Bust of St. Theodore Tiron holding a martyr's cross in his right hand, with his left hand held in front of his chest, palm outward. Inscription in two columns: |θε|.δ,|ο-ο|τη|ρ|ν : Ὁ ἅ(γιος) Θε[ό]δ(ω)[ρ]ο(ς) ὁ Τήρων. Circular inscription, beginning at eight o'clock. Border of dots.

Inscription of five lines, a decoration below. Border of dots.

Translation

Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ .... μητροπολίτῃ Εὐχαΐτων καὶ συγκέλλῳ.

Lord, help your servant .... metropolitan of Euchaita and synkellos.

Commentary

We do not see the letters ΟΔ on the first line, as Laurent did. He proposed the names Theodore, Theodosios, or Theodotos – to which we might add Theodoulos.
