Translation

γραφῶν σφράγισμα τῆς Κοντοστεφανίνας τῆς πανστρατάρχου θυγατρὸς Εὐδοκίας.

Seal of the correspondence of Eudokia Kontostephanina, daughter of the supreme commander.

Commentary

The owner of the seal identifies herself as the daughter of the "supreme commander" (πανστρατάρχης) who may well have been Stephanos Kontostephanos, known to have been megas doux of the fleet when he was killed during the siege of Kerkyra in 1148. See BZS 1955.1.3896.
