Ἀνανίου

Ἀνανίου.

(Seal of) Ananias.

Commentary

The letter at the termination of the right arm of the reverse cruciform monogram may be an M or an N, but is likely an Ν (cf. Zacos-Veglery, no. 1110). Other possibilities for the reading of the monogram include the less common Ἀννιανοῦ (Annanianos), or Ἰουλιανοῦ (Julian)--made less likely by the duplication of the Ν instead of the insertion of an explicit Λ.
