(Seal of) George.

Commentary

Zacos says that he studied the seal before and after it was chipped. He mentions that the rider was nimbate, and that he, "spears with r. hand falling enemy." As he also points out, this military saint could be St. George, the likely patron saint and namesake of the owner of the seal, though this is only conjecture as it is only clearly a military saint.
