Translation

Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Γριγωρίῳ πατρικίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ.

Lord help your servant Gregory, patrikios and strategos.

Commentary

There is room for and traces of a location at the end of the reverse inscription, but no reconstruction of the name is possible without a parallel seal. The damage at the beginning of the reverse inscription may obscure a Θ, which would render the invocation "Θεοτόκε βοήθει..."
