Commentary
The obverse contains the basic design for the monogram of Νικολάου with and additional ω - ε, making Noah the likely other name contained, though there is no way to be sure which genitive is the patronymic. Thus this reading is uncertain. Additionally, on the reverse there may be an ω at the bottom below the α; the seal is chipped, so it impossible to be sure. The presence of this ω would not change the meaning, as it could make it a genitive plural χαρτουλαρίων, and thus making this a monogram of two individuals, not of one with a patronymic.
