Lord, help your servant John Komnenos and doux of Dyrrachion, the son of the sebastokrator.

Commentary

John Komnenos' well known career is discussed in the commentary of DO Seals 1, no. 30.1. He was the son of the sebastokrator Isaac, brother of Alexios I, and governed Dyrrachion from 1091/2 to 1103, if not 1105/6.
